About Dr. Youth
Dr. Gisele Youth is a board-qualified podiatric surgeon.
She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry at Manchester University, followed by a Master Degree in Chemistry from George Mason University in Virginia.
Dr. Youth earned her doctorate from the Scholl College at Rosalind Franklin University of Health Sciences in North Chicago.
The esteemed Scholl College is the oldest podiatric college in the United States, dating back to 1912 and has graduated more podiatric surgeons than any other institution.
After receiving her doctorate, Dr. Youth completed her 3-year surgical residency at the Georgetown University / MedStar Washington Hospital Center in Washington DC, one of the most prestigious podiatric residency programs in the profession.
Dr. Youth then completed a Fellowship program at Emory University in Atlanta Georgia.
There she concentrated on foot, rearfoot and ankle reconstructive surgery.
After her training, Dr. Youth joined a multi-specialty health system in rural Georgia before coming to practice in metro Vancouver in 2024.
Dr. Youth has a comprehensive practice involving all facets of foot and ankle pathology. But she has particular expertise in surgery, the diabetic foot, and nerve pathologies.
Having lived in Cameroon, Ethiopia, the United States, and Canada, Dr. Youth is fully fluent in both English and French.
